NAISUMITE na at naghihintay na lamang ng resolusyon ang kasong multiple counts ng kasong money laundering na isinampa sa Department of Justice (DOJ) laban kina dating Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, Shiela Guo, business partner Cassandra Li Ong at iba pang respondent.
Ito ay kasunod ng pagsumite ng kanilang counter-affidavit ng mga respondent kaugnay sa reklamong inihain ng Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC).
Bigo pa rin si Guo na makapagsumite ng kanyang counter- affidavit dahil dumalo ito sa arraignment ng kanyang kasong graft sa Valenzuela City Regional Trial Court, kung saan nagpasok siya ng not guilty plea.
Kinumpirma ni Senior Assistant State Prosecutor Charlie Guhit na maghahain ng kanyang counter- affidavit sa DOJ si Guo pagkatapos ng kanyang arraignment.
“A lot of respondents attended the hearing. Unfortunately, Alice Guo is still in court because she had to attend the arraignment. For the other respondents, many have submitted their counter-affidavits. However, there are some respondents who did not attend today’s hearing despite being issued subpoenas. For them, the cases are submitted for resolution. For those who submitted counter-affidavits, the cases are also considered submitted for resolution,”ayon kay Guhit.
Ang mga respondents ay nahaharap sa 87 counts ng money laundering na aabot sa halagang P7 bilyon, kasama na ang ari-arian na nabili umano sa iligal na paraan.
Napag-alaman rin na may 32 iba pang indibiduwal kasama ang ilang John at Jane Does ang sinampahan ng kasong paglabag sa Sections 4(a), (b), (c), (d), at (e) ng Republic Act No. 9160, as amended (the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001).
Kabilang sa mga respondents sina Jian Zhong Guo, na kilala bilang Angelito Guo at Angelito Dela Cruz;ang kanilang ina na si Lin Wenyi at kilala Rin bilang Wen Yi Lin at Amelia Leal at Katherine Cassandra Li Ong.

Ayon sa reklamo, ang mga respondent ay may ginampanang role sa operasyon ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).
