In line with the Sto. Cristo Parish Fiesta in Marulas, Valenzuela City, the parish held its bi-annual Sto. Cristo Ephom Medical Mission last May 2 ,2026.
Held from 6 a.m. up to 2 p.m. at the Marulas Central School, the mission featured free medical services such as medical check-up (Pedia/Adult); vitals (free BP, temperature and weight); free medicine; laboratory (Blood Chem-FBS,Uric Acid, Cholesterol and ECG); optha with subsidized glasses; derma-warts removal; free dental extraction; surgery (circumsision) and free haircut.
The event was headed by the Sto. Cristo headed by Parish Priest Fr Nap Baltazar; Eucharistic Pilgrim Healers of Mary (EPHOM) under founder Bro. Desiderio Canay; EPHOM President Dra. Cely Coloma;, Ephom Medical Mission Coordinator Dr. Rosary May B. Canay-Diaz; EPHOM Chairman Ariel Biñas; El Shaddai Chairman and former Ephom Chairman Bro Rex Calero; CFL Chairman Bro. Marcelino Cruz and PVOCS Chairman Bro. John Francis Rosca; CSA Chairman Bro. Kim Brian Guda with Dr Elsa Cayabyab; Dr. Joyce Ng Serrano; Dr. Marissa dela Serna; Dr Aurora Espino and Dr Audrey Mallari,.
At least 308 patients were catered during the said medical mission.
