Limang katao pa ang kinasuhan kaugnay sa pagpaslang kay Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo noong Marso 4, ayon sa Department of Justice (DOJ).
“Some of them are look-outs, some of them are those that bought certain materials or essential tools for the assassination. Some of them bought the vehicles. Now we have a clearer picture of the whole planning stage,”ayon kay DOJ spokesperson Mico Clavano.
Nabatid kay Clavano na Ang limang karagdagang suspek ay hindi pa naaresto pero isinama na sila sa kaso, kasama ng umano’y mastermind na si Negros Oriental Rep Arnolfo Teves.
Sanhi nito, umabot na sa 16 ang bilang ng respondent .
Ipinaliwanag ni Clavano na kaya natagalan ang pagsasampa ng kaso laban sa lima ay dahil nangalap pa ng maraming ebidensiya para maging solido ang kaso.
“As soon as these cases are filed and it goes through preliminary investigation and an information is finally filed in court then a warrant of arrest will be issued by the court,” ayon kay Clavano.
Ang mga nabanggit na respondent ay kinilala ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
