DND’S ASEC. ROBINSON DISCUSSES RESERVE FORCE DEVELOPMENT

NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila – Department of National Defense (DND) Assistant Secretary for Plans and Programs, ASec. Henry Robinson Jr., visited the Philippine Navy (PN) headquarters on Monday, April 15, where he discussed key command initiatives with the Flag Officer In Command, Vice Adm. Toribio Adaci, Jr.

ASec. Robinson gave significant updates and had exchanges with the Navy Chief about the PN Reserve Force Development that is geared toward enhancing the integration and interoperability of reservists with AFP regular forces.


The meeting also covered various topics, including the recent reservist Mobilization Exercise (MOBEX) and ongoing efforts in curriculum development to enhance and align their training with the mandate of the different naval operating forces.

Vice Adm. Adaci expressed his gratitude to ASec. Robinson for the visit and eyed future meaningful and collaborative engagements in matters concerning the development and enhancement of the PN reserve force.

This engagement signifies a strategic step towards optimizing the effectiveness and readiness of Navy reservists as force multipliers who provide invaluable contributions to safeguarding the nation’s maritime security and interests.
