Ipinag-utos ni Bureau of Corrections Director General Gregorio Pio P. Catapang, Jr. ang pag-relieve sa pwesto sa dalawang commissioned officers mula sa Corrections Institution for Women (CIW) para mapadali ang imbestigasyon sa umano’y anomalya sa trust fund ng Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
Pinag-report na rin sa Office of the Deputy Director General for Administration (DDGA) sa National Headquarters sa Muntinlupa City ang na-relieve na sina C/SSUPT Daisy Sevilla-Castillote, Superintendent at C/SSUPT Marites Lebardo, Deputy Superintendent for Administration, kapwa ng CIW.
Si Corrections Officer 2 Bianca Ramos naman na siyang PDL Trust Fund Officer ay absent without leave o naka-AWOL mula pa noong Hulyo 29, 2026.
Humingi ng tulong si Catapang sa Muntinlupa Police Station sa paghahanap sa AWOL na opisyal para mabigyang-linaw ang naturang usapin.
Inatasan na din ni Catapang si Edgardo Virtudazo, hepe ng Internal Audit Service Unit, na magsagawa ng internal audit, hinggil sa umano’y maling paghawak ng trust funds ng PDL.
Ipinag-utos din ni Catapang kay Atty. Ferdinand Balduman, Directorate for Intelligence and Investigation, na magsagawa ng parallel investigation sa mga dati at kasalukuyang opisyal ng CIW.
