CSAFP Visits Fallen Heroes and Military Patients at V. Luna Medical Center

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), General Romeo S Brawner Jr., visited the military personnel undergoing treatment at the Victoriano Luna Medical Center (VLMC) . The visit aimed to uplift the morale of the patients and express the military’s support for their recovery.

During his visit, General Brawner led a gift-giving activity for approximately 300 patients who are currently confined at VLMC. The gesture was intended to bring a sense of comfort and encouragement to the brave men and women who have sacrificed in the line of duty.

General Brawner spoke with the patients, offering words of hope and gratitude for their service to the nation, “This visit is not only about providing gifts but about showing our soldiers that they are not alone in their journey to recovery,” General Brawner said. “We are here to support them, and we stand with them every step of the way.”


The gift-giving activity is part of the pre-anniversary activities in connection with the 89th AFP Anniversary, underscoring commitment to the welfare of its personnel, ensuring they receive the necessary support in both their professional and personal lives.

The ceremony as part of the celebrations for AFP’s 89th Founding Anniversary, honored the bravery and service of the AFP’s heroes who have given their lives in the line of duty to protect the sovereignty of the Philippines.

General Brawner, accompanied by senior military officials, paid their respects by laying wreaths at the memorial, which stands as a symbol of the courage and valor of the AFP personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country.

The event is a part of the AFP’s annual tradition of remembering the fallen, underscoring the deep gratitude and respect the nation has for the sacrifices made by its military. As the AFP continues to grow and evolve, the legacy of these brave men and women remains a guiding force in the pursuit of peace and national security.
