Unidentified men shot dead a couple and their companion in an ambush in Pasay City on February 3, 2023.
Victims Philip Jay Tan, his wife Lilian, of Tabon-Tabon, Bacao, Oriental Mindoro and Richard Kevin delos Reyes of San Roque, Batangas were killed on the spot. They sustained gunshot wounds in the body.
Initial investigation showed that the shooting took place in front of the Light Rail Transit depot gate in Barangay 19 at around 12:30 p.m.
The victims were inside their vehicle, a white Honda Civic (BCX-860) when the two unidentified suspects approached them and then fired several rounds before fleeing the scene on foot.
An investigation is underway.
