Clean Hands, Save Lives!

Under this motto, the Pasay Rotary Clubs led by their Chairman and Phenomenal Leader President of Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City Elmer Francis Passion are joining the advocacy for Global Handwashing Day celebrated every 15th of October.

‘We join the world in its advocacy on hand hygiene and sanitation as one of the most effective and affordable way to combat deadly viruses and diseases such as the COVID-19, diarrhea, coughs, colds, and pnuemonia, however, we face the bitter reality of having limited facilities for this purpose. Today, we share to you this project as our contribution in promoting proper handwashing as a way to save lives,’ PLP Jun Pasion.

The Handwashing Facility donated by the Rotary Clubs of Pasay is the first of its kind featuring a pedal-powered water source which also lessens hand contact compared to regular water faucets.

Also present at the Turnover was JP Rizal Elementary School’s Principal Norma Jamon, faculty, and administration. (Baby Cuevas)
