In what is yet another highly-laudable act of supporting the administration of Mayor Honey Lacuna, the China Embassy and the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) conducted joint efforts to help the victims of the huge fire that left over 2,000 families homeless in Isla Puting Bato in Tondo, Manila.
The said generous, philanthropic act douses all nasty efforts to drive a wedge against China and the Philippines, coming at a time when the country is in the thick of celebrating the Yuletide season.
The help extended by the said groups comprise of relief goods and symbolizes their compassion and sympathy for the unfortunate incident, while also seen as a gesture in keeping with the Christmas tradition of giving during the season.
The some 2,000 relief packages included rice, clothes and other essentials or basic needs which the displaced residents may use as they start anew.
As the spirit of Christmas reminds us of the importance of unity and compassion, we stand alongside those in need, bringing hope and support during these challenging times. Our Embassy and the FFCCCII stand in solidarity with our Filipino friends as they rebuild with resilience, strength, and hope,” said Ambassador Huang Xilian.
The good ambassador also assured the Tondo residents that the China Embassy is there to help them rise from the situation.

Extending help to the Isla Puting Bato residents is one solid proof of the trust they have bestowed on Mayor Honey.
