The Commanding General, Philippine Air Force, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF presided over the donning of ranks ceremony of the newly promoted generals on January 23, 2024, at the Hall of Flags, CJVAB, Pasay City.
BGEN JOSEL J ZUÑIGA PAF, Deputy Commander, Air Mobility Command, and BGEN ALVIN M HATE PAF, Wing Commander, 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing were promoted to a one-star rank and subsequently awarded their Command Pilot Rating.
In his message, the CG, PAF expressed his gratitude and commended the two generals for their exemplary service to the PAF.
He reminded them that the true essence of leadership lies not in their rank and insignia, but in their unwavering dedication to the accomplishment of the PAF’s mission.
