Nanguna sa ginanap na October 2023 Physician Licensure Examination na ibinigay ng Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), ang isang graduate ng Cebu Institute of Medicine.
Napag-alamam na may kabuuang 4,083 sa 6,456 examinees ang pumasa sa licensure exam ibinigay ng Board of Medicine na pinamunuan ni Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion.
Ayon sa PRC, nakuha ni Justin Riley Yap Lam ang unang puwesto sa rating na 89%,sinundan ito ni Miguel Enrique Singson Roa ng Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (88.58 percent) at Sean Michael Payongayong Orbigo ng Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (88.50 percent).
Habang si Jon Michael Saluta Kimpo ,ng University of the Philippines-Manila ,ang nakakuha ng ika-apat na puwesto (88.42 percent),at nakuha ang ika.-limang puwesto ni Tranquil Matthew Apasan Salvador IV, mula rin sa University of the Philippines-Manila (88.17 percent).
Kabilang naman sa top 10 sina Joed Ivan De Leon Mata, University of Santo Tomas (88.08 percent); Pauline Andrea Averia Wong, University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (88.00 percent); Jessica Mae Lacambra Garcia, University of Santo Tomas (87.92 percent); Noe Raphael Dechosa Tarrosa, University of Santo Tomas (87.92 percent); Sharon Jenny Fernandez Te, Davao Medical School Foundation (87.75 percent); Josiah Keith Florendo Domingo, University of Santo Tomas (87.42 percent) at Gaius Suplicio Garces Yu III: St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine-William H. Quasha Memorial Inc. (87.42 percent),
Nakasama naman sa mga top-performing schools na ang 50 examinees ay pumasansa exam o nasa may 80 % ang overall passing percentage ay ang

Ang exam ay ginawa noong Oktubre 20 hanggang 21 at 27 hanggang 28 sa mga testing centers sa Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, at Zamboanga.
