Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced that in accordance with the July 29, 2025 resolution issued by the Department of Transportation’s Manila Slot Coordination Committee the final phase of the transfer of turboprop aircraft operations from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 to Clark International Airport (CRK) is now in place.
CEB spokesperson Carmina Romero said that effective March 29, 2026, certain following Cebgo (DG) flights will relocate to CRK and as such, flights of AirSwift (T6), a wholly-owned subsidiary of CEB, will also transfer from NAIA Terminal 2 to Clark International Airport:
Romero said affected passengers will be automatically transferred to a new flight from Clark. Should passengers prefer a different arrangement, CEB is providing the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the CEB website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking: Free Rebooking- Rebook without fare difference for travel up to 30 days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond 30 days from the original flight date; Travel Fund- Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.) or Refund – Full refund of your ticket.
The Manila Slot Coordinating Committee (MSCC), composed of the DOTr, Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) and NAIA operator New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC), had ordered the gradual phaseout of turboprop operations at NAIA in December 2024 as a way to ease congestion and maximize air traffic flow at the NAIA, she added.
According to her, the original deadline for the full transfer was October 26, 2025, but the resolution was amended on July 29, 2025, extending the phaseout to March 29, 2026.
Following the transfer of turboprop operations, CEB will be increasing its frequencies to the following destinations to serve growing demand, she added.
