The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced that its Administrative and Finance Services (AFS) has successfully passed the ISO 9001:2015 Certification, with no non-conformities identified during the certification audit.
“This milestone reflects the hard work and commitment of our Administrative and Finance Services personnel to uphold the highest standards of accountability and quality in public service,” said CAAP Director General Retired Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario.
According to CAAP spokesman Eric Apolonio, the compliance of CAAP-AFS with ISO standards underscores its commitment to efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement in the delivery of administrative, financial, and human resource management services, in line with the directives of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez.
ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognized quality management standard that guides organizations in enhancing performance, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring consistent service excellence, Apolonio said. The Flight Standards Inspectorate Service (FSIS) earlier passed the ISO surveillance audit last week.
Apolonio said CAAP reaffirms its commitment to sustaining the gains achieved under the ISO certification and to continuously improving its management systems in line with international best practices.
