The Bohol-Panglao International Airport elevates passenger experience as the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines unveils the breastfeeding station and kid’s play area at the terminal’s pre-departure area this Tuesday, January 23.
According to CAAP Area 7 Manager Atty. Rafael Tatlonghari, this latest addition offers a comfortable space for breastfeeding mothers and a fun haven for children before their flights to various destinations.
Tatlonghari also mentioned that airport staff can be approached for the utilization of the area.
CAAP spokesman Eric Apolonio said the project was an initiative by the BPIA’s Gender and Development (GAD) Committee to provide efficient and comfortable travel experiences for air travelers.
BPIA is committed to improving its services; in 2018, it was recognized as the first eco-friendly airport in the country, showcasing green and sustainable structures, such as solar panels, Apolonio added.
