The Bureau of Customs – Port of Subic received the International Standards for Organization (ISO) 9001:2015 Certification for consistently providing products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements after a short awarding ceremony.
District Collector Maritess Martin and Deputy Collector for Administration Aileen Amada Tortoles represented the Port of Subic during the awarding ceremony presided by Commissioner Yogi Felimon Ruiz at the BOC Conference Room last week.
Martin thanked the employees for their contribution to the achievements of the Subic Port.
Martin assured that the Port would maintain and improve the standards established under the ISO certification, following President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to align customs procedures and processes with international standards. (VICTOR BALDEMOR)
