BOC PARTICIPATES IN FIRST CICAC ASSEMBLY

THE Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA), through the office of District Collector Atty. Yasmin O. Mapa, participated in the 1st General Assembly of the Customs Industry Consultative and Advisory Council (CICAC) held on May 27, 2024 at the Federation Center, Muelle de Binondo in Manila.

The assembly was graced by the presence of Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, other BOC officials and members of CICAC and NAIA-Customs assistant deputy collector Mark Jhon Almase.

A notable highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the Manifesto of Support by the 17 local CICACs, along with the pledge of commitment from new CICAC members.


CICAC serves as a consultative body designed to foster collaboration between the BOC and the business-industrial sector.
