BOC-NAIA HOSTS COURTESY VISIT BY CHINESE EMBASSY REPRESENTATIVES

The Bureau of Customs—Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC—NAIA) held a meeting with representatives from the Chinese Embassy at the NAIA Conference Room in Pasay City.

Head of Consulate Wang Minhao and Consul Cao Kaiwen represented the Chinese Embassy while Port officials, led by District Collector Carmelita Talusan, participated in the discussion.

The focus of the meeting is to have an improved collaboration between the two agencies to facilitate air cargo shipments for Chinese travelers.


Head of Consulate Minhao intends to donate translator devices to address language barrier with Chinese travelers. The embassy will also provide training assistance to the personnel of the port.

Collector Talusan expressed her commitment to the partnership and trainings, which would continue to strengthen trade facilitation to promote tourism and investment in the country.

The Chinese Embassy representatives also visited the BOC-NAIA Exhibit Hall, which holds an archive of the port’s accomplishments.

BOC-NAIA, under the guidance of Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, is at the forefront of trade facilitation, providing excellent service to its stakeholders, and aligning with the directives of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.
