Bureau of Customs – Port of NAIA Collector Carmelita M. Talusan commended BOC-NAIA Warehouses, COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force Team.
Certificates of Commendation were given to warehouses who performed for the month of June, surpassing the June 2022 respective collection targets: Central Mail Exchange Center headed by Mr. Mark Jhon O. Almase, TMW & DHL Assessment Composite Unit headed by Mr. Ronald Moreno, Cargohaus Assessment Composite Unit headed by Mr. Arnoldo Famor, and Arrival Operations DIvision headed by Mr. Roberto Quintana ,during the Port’s regular conduct of Flag Raising Ceremony on July 04, 2022.
Furthermore, Collector Talusan also recognized the dedication of the frontliners, COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force Team, behind the continuous expeditious clearance in facilitating COVID-19 vaccines. As of date, 218 batches of vaccines comprising of more than 240 Million doses were released by the Port of NAIA, constituting the 96% of total vaccines cleared nationwide.
Lastly, in its effort to further protect its frontliners and stakeholders, the Bureau of Customs – NAIA being the 1st Non-LGU and Non-Health Facility accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) to conduct RESBAKUNA Vaccination Programs, was able to inoculate a total of 2,564 BOC Frontliners and Stakeholders.
