LUMIKHA ng special lane o one stop shop ang Bureau of Customs (BOC), para suriin ang mga kargamento ng mga diplomats and foreign dignitaries sa pamamagitan ng BOC Assessment and Operations Coordinating Group (AOCG).
Ang One-Stop-Shop sa lahat ng BOC collection districts sa buong bansa ang siyang magpa-facilitates para pabilisin an gang processing at release ng mga cargoes nan aka pangalan sa mga diplomats and foreign dignitaries.
Ayon sa BOC ito ay pinangangasiwaan ng AOCG na buibuuin ng Chief of the Informal Entry Divisions ng bawat collection districts.
Ang One-Stop-Shop ay nilikha kasunod ng ginawang pagpupulong sa pagitan ng BOC, Department of Foreign Affairs, at Embassy of the United States of the America kung saan ay inihayag ni Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz ang kanyang commitment para mapabilis ang customs processes and procedures.
This initiative is in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., to streamline procedures in the BOC and to remain steadfast in the fulfillment of the Bureau’s mandate of enhancing trade facilitation in the country’ ani Yogi Ruiz. (VICTOR BALDEMOR)
