SEVERAL barangay officials in Tondo are in hot water after they were accused of manhandling four individuals, including three minors.
Named in the complaint were a barangay ex-o, a barangay tanod and a barangay kagawad.
It was alleged that on the night of September 16 , 2026, the complainants were huddling when a barangay ex-o arrived and collared the four. The eldest of them is a 21-year-old man.
The group was said to have been accused of being unnecessarily noisy and cussing.
Instead of being brought to the barangay hall however, the four were reportedly brought to a nearby alley.
The complainants further claimed they were slapped and admonished at gunpoint or threatened with an icepick, for previously creating chaos on September 8.
