UNIT VISIT I The Chief of Staff, AFP (CSAFP), Lt. Gen. Bartolome Vicente O Bacarro, visited the sailors and marines at the Philippine Navy Headquarters in Roxas Boulevard.
In his talk to troops, the CSAFP reiterated the Commander-in-Chief’s emphasis on safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“It is imperative that we continue to protect, defend, and secure the country’s maritime and air domain against all foreign intrusions,” Lt. Gen. Bacarro said, highlighting the Navy’s crucial role in conducting sustained naval and maritime operations to accomplish the AFP mission of protecting the people and securing the state.
Philippine Navy Flag-Officer-In-Command (FOIC) Vice Admiral Adeluis S Bordado welcomed the CSAFP in the continuation of the latter’s tour to AFP units to deliver his guidance following his assumption as CSAFP on August 8. (VICTOR BALDEMOR)
