MAS pinatindi pa ng AFP Eastern Mindanao Command ang kanilang inilalatag na security preparation para sa panunumpa sa tungkulin ni VP-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio .
Bukod dito nakipag ugnayan din ang Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom), sa pangunguna ni LtGen. Greg T. Almerol sa lahat ng security forces bilang paghahanda sa kanilang security operations sa panahon ng VP-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio inauguration sa June 19 sa Davao City.
Kabilang sa nasabing pagpupulong sina MGen. Nolasco A. Mempin, Commander of the 10th Infantry Division (ID); BGen. Potenciano C. Camba, Commander of Joint Task Force (JTF) Haribon; BGen. Consolito P. Yecla, Commander 1003rd Infantry Brigade; Operations Officers ng ibat ibang AFP combat and support units; at mga kinatawan ng Presidential Security Group (PSG) at Philippine National Police (PNP).
Sa nasabing pagpupulong ay ninilatag ng JTF Haribon ang kanilang Security Plan para sa nakatakdang event, kabilang ditto ang Concepts and Recommendations para pagandahin pa at higit pang palakasin ang kanilang security preparations and eventual security operations.
Itinalaga ni LtGen. Almerol ang JTF Haribon, ang anti-terrorism Task Force ng EastMinCom, bilang contingent sa security operations, na pinangungunahan ni BGen. Camba bilang overall Ground Commander.
“Our initial plan is to augment additional specialized and technical resources to the JTF Haribon coming from the 10ID, Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao (NFEM), Tactical Operations Wing Eastern Mindanao (TOW-EM), and Headquarters EastMinCom,” ani Almerol.
“We will deploy our troops and all available resources to boost the security within the city and its borders, as well as conduct maritime and air patrols. We will also utilize our medical group to provide medical support in case of any emergency,” dagdag pa nito.
“EastMinCom will continuously conduct liaising, coordination and cooperation with other concerned security forces to ensure that the inauguration of VP-elect Sara Duterte will be successful,” he emphasized. (VICTOR BALDEMOR)
