The man previously made headlines on social media for living inside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has now left the country.
Bureau of Immigration (BI) records show that the unnamed 76-year-old American man arrived from Bangkok last January 31.
He was reported by airport authorities to be living inside the NAIA Terminal 3, saying that hotels are expensive.
He previously told media that he was a victim of theft, but still had some remaining cash. He was said to have been living off dole outs from airport workers and other passengers.
His situation was already reported to the US embassy in Manila, who has initiated assistance for him.
The BI confirmed that the man did not overstay his visa and departed for Bangkok on February 22.
