IPINAG-UTOS ni Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro sa lahat ng tauhan ng Department of National Defense at Armed Forces of the Philippines na tigilan na ang paggamit ng trending digital application na AI photo generator apps dahil sa privacy at security risks na nakapaloob sa nasabing application.
Sa inilabas na memorandum order na may petsang October 16, inutos ni Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. sa mga tauhan ng DND at AFP na huwag gumamit ng artificial intelligence (AI) photo generator applications.
Paliwanag ng kalihim, may mga nakalap na silang ulat hinggil sa privacy at security risk na dulot ng AI apps.
“The online trending digital application that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI), which requires its users to submit at least ten photos of themselves to generate an enhanced portrait, poses significant privacy and security risks. This application compiles its users’ data and creates a digital person that mimics how a real individual speaks and moves,” ani Teodoro sa nasabing memo.
“This seemingly harmless and amusing Al-powered application can be maliciously used to create fake profiles that can lead to identity theft, social engineering, phishing attacks and other malicious activities,” dagdag pa ng kalihim.
Ang utos ng kalihim ay mabilis na ipakalat at ipatupad ang kanyang direktiba sa lahat ng nasasakupan at maging maingat sa pagse-share ng information online .
Dapat umanong tiyakin ng bawat isa na ang kanilang mga gawi ay naaayon sa values ng kagawaran at tugma sa mga umiiral na polisiya.
