AFP HOLDS SIMULTANEOUS CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS LIGHTING

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – General Romeo S Brawner Jr PA, The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP) led the Simultaneous Christmas Decorations Lighting at the Lapulapu Grandstand here at the General Headquarters .

Col. Xerxes Trinidad, the AFP Public Information Office chief said, the activities are in line with the yuletide season and the upcoming 88th AFP Anniversary Celebration with the theme “Rising Over The Challenges in Service to the Nation.”


In his message, the CSAFP encouraged the officers, enlisted personnel and civilian human resources of the AFP to serve with humility, honor and integrity, and to work together in building a brighter and more prosperous future for the country.

“It is a symbolic moment that represents not only the joy and warmth of Christmas but also the indomitable spirit within each one of us as we rise over the challenges in the service of our beloved nation. May the illumination of these Christmas lights inspire us to carry the same spirit of unity, resilience, and devotion into the coming year,” Gen Brawner said.

Meanwhile, The Philippine Army and all its military camps ushered in the Christmas season through the simultaneous Christmas lighting ceremony .


Army headquarters highlights the activity with the inauguration of enhanced Division Administrative Coordinating Center (DACC) facilities in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido led the activity, highlighting “Paglilingkod, Pamilya at Pagasenso” (Service, Family and Progress).


“Truly, this year’s Christmas is not just about the gatherings and the feasts, but a moment to reflect on our accomplishments and to express our appreciation for the unity and determination that have carried us forward,” Lt. Gen. Galido said in his keynote speech during the Army-wide simultaneous Christmas lighting activity.

Meanwhile, the Army Chief said that the enhanced DACC facilities will provide conducive living spaces for liaison officers and personnel of various Philippine Army Major Units.


“May the interactive display of Christmas lights in our Headquarters and across our Army units serve as our inspiration to foster the values of hope, peace, and solidarity during the Christmas season,” the Army Chief concluded.
