CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines, General Andres C Centino PA served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the Flag Raising Ceremony and Awarding of Philippine National Police (PNP) Personnel with significant accomplishments in the PNP National Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City on March 20.
The AFP Chief of Staff was welcomed by the Chief, Philippine National Police, PGen Rodolfo S Azurin, Jr.
Ten (10) PNP officers and enlisted personnel who showed outstanding acts of heroism and invaluable service in the performance of their duties were awarded the “Medalya ng Kadakilaan,” and “Medalya ng Kasanayan” during the ceremony.
The CSAFP emphasized the importance of the AFP and the PNP’s partnership in safeguarding the peace, stability, and development of the country and the roles that both institutions have which should be performed at the highest level of dedication and professionalism.
“Hopefully, your exemplary acts that resulted in this conferment of awards will be an inspiration to other policemen all over the country to do their part in rendering selfless and professional service. May your individual acts of heroism serve as a reminder of both our institutions’ unwavering devotion to making every Filipino’s life free from threat and danger,” said CSAFP as he lauded the honorees.
