AFP AMONG METROBANK FOUNDATION’S PEACE AWARDEES

The Armed Forces of the Philippines was bestowed the 4th Metrobank Foundation Award for Partner in Empowerment, Advocacy, and Commitment to Excellence (PEACE) during the 45th founding anniversary of Metrobank Foundation Inc., (MBFI) on February 29 in Taguig City.

The award, which recognizes the AFP’s collaborative efforts with MBFI, was received by General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and recipient of then Ten Outstanding Philippine Soldiers, now The Outstanding Philippine Soldiers, (TOPS) in 2013.


Also receiving an Award for Continued Excellence and Service is 2016 TOPS honoree, Marine Col Wilfredo Manalang, for “continued performance of duties with excellence and positive contribution to their respective institutions.”

The citation shows the AFP’s commitment to excellence and service, as well as its dedication to nation-building with its partners and stakeholders.
