The China Embassy in the Philippines hosted a well attended and lavish grand celebration of Chinese New Year the other night at The Shangri-La The Fort, Bonifacio Global City.
Present during the pre-Chinese New Year celebration are dignitaries, some AFP Senior military officers, Filipino Chinese businessmen , military attaches of different countries and even peoples from the media.
As we usher in the Year of Loong (Dragon), a symbol of prosperity and good fortune, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to President Bongbong Marcos and Vice President Inday Sara Duterte for their gracious greetings, Ambassador Huang Xilian said.
President Marcos wrote that “the Filipino and Chinese peoples are bound by multifaceted ties of kinship and friendship” and “we look forward to continued positive contributions of China and our Chinese friends to our national development in the years ahead”.
Meanwhile, VP Sara also conveyed her wishes in excellent Chinese“??????”and urged everyone to seize the opportunity to strengthen our bonds, promote understanding, and work together towards a harmonious future for all.
