On July 1, 2023, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) held simultaneous Flag Raising rites in all PAF air bases in celebration of its 76th Founding Anniversary.
Leading the rites at the PAF New Grandstand, CJVAB is LTGen. Stepen Parreno, PAF, Commanding General, PAF, who was joined by other General Officers, HPAF Staff, Unit Commanders, other Officers, Enlisted Personnel, and Civilian Human Resource.
In most PAF bases, their flag raising ceremony featured the awarding of deserving Units and Personnel for their outstanding contributions to the overall accomplishments of the organization.
In CJVAB, the following awards were conferred:

The flag raising ceremony was followed by a wreath-laying ceremony as a tribute to the fallen airmen who made their ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, reminding everyone of their bravery and selflessness for the overall accomplishment of the organization’s mandate.
