TINATAYANG nasa P858,500.00 halaga ng ecstasy, isang uri ng ‘party drugs.’ ang nasamsam ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs -Port of Clark at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Huli naman sa isinagawang controlled delivery operation ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng PDEA at BOC-Port of Clark sa Parañaque City ang claimant ng smuggled party drugs .
Base sa ulat, ang nakumpiska ay dmay kabuuang 505 piraso ng methylenedioxymethamphetamine o mas kilala bilang ‘ecstasy.’ na may kabuuang halaga na P858,500.
Sa ibinahaging ulat ni BOC Commissioner Felimon Yogi Ruiz, nagmula ang iligal na droga sa bansa noong Setyembre 30 na nakalagay sa tatlong plastic jars at nagmula sa Hoofddorp sa The Netherlands na idineklara bilang mga beads.
Dahil kaduda-duda ang package ay agad itong sinailalim sa field testing at nagpositibo sa presensya ng “mixture of MDMA (Ecstasy) cotton,” isang controlled substance na amphetamine.
Ipinasya ng BOC na kumuha at magsumite ng samples sa PDEA para sa chemical laboratory analysis na nagkumpirma na methylenedioxymethamphetamine or ecstasy, isang dangerous drug sa ilalim ng Republic Act (R.A.) No. 9165.
Agad na naglabas ng warrant of Seizure and Detention si District Collector Alexandra Lumontad for violation of Sections 118 (g), 119 (d), and 1113 par. f, i & l (3 & 4) of R.A. No. 10863 in relation to Section 4 of R.A. No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Mahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“The BOC, under the leadership of Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz and in support of the anti-illegal drug campaign of President Ferdinand R.
