2-TAON NA ANG PAL; ‘NEW DISCOVERIES, NEW LOOK, NEW REASONS TO FLY’

Nitong Marso 15 ay ipinagdiwang ng Philippine Airlines (PAL), na tinaguriang flag carrier ng bansa, ang ika-82nd anibersaryo nito.

“At 82, Philippine Airlines is younger than ever and focused intently on enhancing the travel experience of our valued customers. We face the great challenge of rebuilding tourism and economic growth, and we are responding by ramping up flights, introducing routes to Australia and China that enable us to fly in more tourists and generate more business, and developing exciting products and services that will make bring value to our passengers,”ani PAL President and COO Capt. Stanley K. Ng.

“We are grateful for the support of our customers in this time of continuing transition and renewal. We look forward to serving them well and inspiring more people to fly and discover new experiences with PAL,” dagdag pa nito.


Ayon naman kay PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna, ang PAL celebration ay naganap sa gitna ng ‘transformation journey, as the airline continues to build up its route network and introduce new products and service innovations to give travelers more reasons to fly and create new experiences.

Kabilang sa mga nasa pagdiriwang sina PAL Vice President for Corporate Communications Josen Perez de Tagle, VP for Marketing Ria Domingo at PAL Director Lucio Tan III.

Sinabi nina Villaluna at De Tagle sa media na kabilang sa mga programa ng PAL na naglalayong iangat pang lalo ang magandang ‘passenger experience ang sumusunod” :ang ‘refreshed look’ ng PAL sa mga Paliparan at digital platforms simula ngaong buwan na sasalamin sa ‘dynamism and energy’ ng airline sa loob ng 82 taong pagbibigay ng serbisyo; ang PAL Anniversary Seat Sale na ini-extend hanggang March 19 upang mas madami pang makapag-avail ng mga mababang deal gaya ng P 182 one-way base fare para sa domestic flights at USD99 roundtrip base fare para sa international destinations na available sa lahat ng PAL routes.

Inilunsad din ang direct flight sa Perth, Australia, ang unang nonstop flight na nag-uugnay sa Pilipinas at Perth at sa Western Australia region, simula sa March 27, 2023 at gayundun ang non-stop flights na nag-uugnay sa Kalibo at Seoul, Incheon sa South Korea mula April 2023,.


“Having restored most of our mainland China routes in recent weeks, PAL will also build up daily flights to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Jinjiang and Xiamen this April, while increasing service to Beijing to six weekly flights in May. New island-hopper routes from Clark to Coron (Busuanga) and Boracay (Caticlan) in April are expected to further stimulate domestic tourism,” ayon kay Villaluna.

“PAL is also resuming regular flights between Manila and Macau this April, completing a major expansion of services to eight cities in Greater China. PAL now offers a combined 42 weekly flights to Hong Kong and Taipei from Manila,” dagdag pa niya.

Ang mga travelers ay maaring maka-score ng pinakamababang deals sa pamamagitan ng bagong ‘Flights Deals Portal’, isang ‘searchable platform’ kung saan madaling maka-access ang mga pasahero.

Naga-upgrade din ang PAL ng ‘widebody fleet’ upang pagandahin ang karanasan ng mga pasahero sa ‘long-haul flights’ nito.


“ On new experiences with PAL, we will soon be offering a new Port-to-Door Service, where cargo customers can have their shipments delivered to their doorsteps, hassle free; will open an expansive New Mabuhay Lounge for international departures at Manila airport’s Terminal 1 later in 2023 featuring a contemporary design and a younger, trendier vibe to go with PAL’s brand of customer service and te lounge will offer a food and beverage buffet service, shower rooms and free Wi-Fi in a premium haven good for pre-flight work or relaxation,” ayon pa kay Villaluna.

Marami pang pagbabagong ilulunsad ang PAL para makasabay sa panahon at sa kagustuhan ng mga manlalakbay.
