Arestado ng National Bureau of Investigation-Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Division (NBI-AVAWCD) ang dalawang indibiduwal dahil sa ” sexually exploitation” ng mga menor de edad sa online.
Sa bisa ng Warrant to Search, Seize and Examine Computer Data (WSSECD) ay naaresto ng NBI-AVAWCD sina Paulo de la Cruz at Lynette Cruz noong Setyembre 8,2023.
Nabatid na nakatanggap ang NBI-AVAWCD ng impormasyon mula sa Homeland Security Investigation-Manila kaugnay sa isang umano’y bugaw sa Pilipinas na nag-aalok ng mga sexual videos at larawan ng mga menor de edad sa United States.
Kabilang sa mga nakuhang ebidensiya ng NBI-AVAWCD ang mga child sexual abuse or exploitation materials (CSAEMs), Skype at WhatsApp chat logs, Paypal Subpoena results, at screen record ng video call sa pagitan ng Skype at suspek na si Cruz at ang poseur-customer.
Bukod ito sa online sexual na nag -aalok rin ng live streaming at sexual shows si Cruz.
Sinampahan ng kasong paglabag sa RA 11930 kilala bilang Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) at Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) Act, RA 9208 or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act, as amended, at RA 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act ang mga suspek sa Department of Justice(DOJ).
