Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City — A member of the New People’s Army in the province of Masbate who is charged with an offense was placed under the custody of PNP-PRO5.
This was after the service of the warrant of arrest against the accused, named Benny Turing y Solmayor alias Geny Toring, 52, of Purok 6, Brgy. Libertad, Cawayan, Masbate.
At about 11:10 a.m. of July 21, 2022 at Brgy. Villahermosa, Cawayan, Masbate, joint operatives of Cawayan MPS together with Masbate PIU and Masbate 2nd PMFC served the warrant of arrest for the commission of Robbery with Homicide with no bail recommended.
Further, said individual is alleged to be affiliated to Larangan 2, Komite ng Probinsya 4 under Ruel Ybanez of GEMO command which operates in the 3rd District of Masbate.
He is now under the custody of Cawayan, Masbate.
PNP- Bicol shall continue its anti-criminality operation in order to apprehend wanted persons with pending cases. It shall coordinate with its partner agencies for swift action and ease of transaction on operations to be launched. (VICTOR BALDEMOR)
