PINAPURIHAN ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang paghatol ng 160 taong pagkabilanggo sa isang American national dahil sa pang-aabuso sa mga batang Pilipino online .
Nakarating sa DOJ na si Benjamin Walter,41 ng Alabama state ay hinatulan ng 160 taon pagkabilanggo noong Oktubre 2021.
Ginagamit.umano ni Walter ang internet para makakuha ng mga larawan at bayolenteng video ng pang aabusing seksuwal.ng mga batang Filipino.
“The conviction of Benjamin Walter is a triumph not just for his victims but also for other victims of sexual abuse and exploitation. Online exploitation of children is one of the vilest of crimes that preys upon the most vulnerable — our innocent children. Most of them are left scarred for life and it is important for their complete recovery and healing that their abusers are held accountable for their crimes,”ayon kay outgoing DOJ spokesperson Undersecretary Emmeline Villar.
Sinabi ni Villar na ang Pilipinas ang.may pinakamataas na insidente ng Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) sa buong.mundo.
“But the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking has responded with great force to eradicate OSEC in the Philippines. Each year our rescues of abuse and exploited children, investigations of OSEC, cases filed, and convictions secured are increasing due to our continued efforts to strengthen and scale up our response against OSEC,” dagdag ni Villar.
Nabatid sa US DOJ ,gumagamit umano si Walter, ng dalawang web service provider accounts para makahanap ng mga babae sa Pilipinas para maabuso kahit pa.sarili nilang anak at kamag anak kapalit ng pera na umaanot sa USD25 hanggang sa P50 dolyar.
Nakita sa lap top ni Walter ang video ng mga bata na nasa edad 3 pataas na nakikipagtalik sa mga adult na lalaki,may gang rape pa at mga bata na nagtatalik.
Bukod kay Walter, 47 anyos na lalaking taga North Carolina na si Jacob Daylen ,ang hinatulan rin ng 55 pagkabilanggo noong Enero dahil sa pagbabayad sa babaeng filipino para sa video live stream nang pangaabuso ng sexual ang mga bata.
Gayundin si Charles Lee Frazier na hinatulang ng 27 taon noong Nobyembre ,2021 dahil sa kaparehas na kaso.
