May 10 bilateral meetings ang bubunuin ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. sa “sidelines” ng ASEAN-EU Commemorative Summit sa Belgium sa darating na Disyembre 14.
“This will be a very busy trip for the President and we hope that this will redound to a lot of benefits for the Filipino people not only for ASEAN,” ayon kay DFA Assistant Secretary Daniel Espiritu sa ginanap na press briefing sa Palasyo.
Nabatid na.makikipagkita umano si Marcos sa mga kinatawan ng Belgium, Estonia, Czech Republic, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Finland, the Netherlands at European Union.
Napag-alaman na si Marcos ay kabilang sa mga lider sa ASEAN-EU na magbibigay ng opening remarks at maging sa closing remarks.
Si Marcos ay lalahok sa mga opisyal ng ASEAN at EU sa isang press conference.
Ayon pa kay Espiritu ,makikipagkita rin si Marcos sa Filipino community sa Belgium at business leaders para makatulong na lumikha ng trabaho at investment sa Pilipinas. (Anthony Quindoy)
