MAYOR HONEY URGES MANILANS TO GET VACCINATED, WHETHER PRIMARY OR BOOSTER

Manila residents are being called upon by Mayor Honey Lacuna to get vaccinated or boosted, as the city government resumed its vaccination efforts against COVID-19 on Thursday, January 12, 2023, adding that those interested may register at www.manilacovid19vaccine.ph as a matter of requirement.

Lacuna said that the following vaccination doses were made available for walk-in on designated locations: First and second dose (A1, A2, A3, A4, & A5), brands available: Sinovac & Pfizer- 44 health centers; first and second dose (minors aged five to 17), brands available: Sinovac & Pfizer—44 health centers (Sinovac is only allowed for 6 to 17 years old per DOH Memorandum 2022-0455); first booster shot (A1, A2, A3, A4, & A5), brand available: Pfizer—- 44 health centers; first booster shot (for minors aged 12-17), brand available: Pfizer— 44 health centers; second booster shot (A1 priority group except OFWs and relatives of A1, adults aged 50 and older, adults aged 18 to 49 with comorbidities), brand available: Pfizer– 44 health centers.


She directed those who will take the shots to bring their QR code and a valid ID for verification, adding that the QR code and vaccination ID may be downloaded at www.manilacovid19vaccine.ph. and to strictly follow health protocols at the vaccination sites.

The mayor said: “For our minors, bring your birth certificate/baptismal/school ID/PWD ID/or any valid ID and for immunocompromised individuals, bring your updated medical certificate signed by your doctor. Those with comorbidity are required to bring proof of comorbidity to be presented at the vaccination site. Consent and assent form will be provided at the vaccination sites.”

The mayor reminded companions of our minors that only one companion per vaccine recipient will be allowed in the vaccination site.


“Bring a valid ID to prove your relation to the minor as only immediate relative of the minors will be allowed,” Lacuna said. (BABY CUEVAS)
