Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna announced that the reopening of the Manila Zoo will be moved from November 15, 2022 to November 21, 2022, to give way for the final preparations needed.
“Sa pakiusap ng mga stall owners para lalo nila mapaganda at mapag handaan ang tuluyang pagbubukas ng Manila Zoo, minabuti natin na ipagpaliban muna ang pag bukas ng Manila Zoo from November 15 to November 21,” Lacuna said.
Lacuna’s spokesperson Atty. Princess Abante said that Manila Zoo will be operating from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a cut-off for entry of guests at 6:00 p.m. daily.
The admission fees are as follows: Adult and child – P150 for Manilans and P300 for non Manilans; Students – P100 for Manilans and P200 for non Manilans; Senior Citizens and PWD – 20% discount on prescribed fees; Children 2 years old and below may enter for free, Abante added.
Online registration and purchasing of tickets will be available starting November 20, 2022 via manilazoo.ph. (JERRY S. TAN)
