THE Manila Police District (MPD) is investigating the death of a female incoming student of the De La Salle University (DLSU) in Malate, Manila who died after falling off from the 10th floor of its campus building at past noon on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
The 18-year-old victim who died on the spot was listed as an occupant at the university’s Female Athletes Dormitory.
A report from the MPD- Malate Police Station 9 said the incident took place at 12:57 p.m. at the 10th floor ledge of the said building located beside the Enrique Razon Sports Complex at the corner of Noli Agno and F. Reyes Streets.
A concerned citizen reportedly saw the victim on the ledge and alerted the security personnel who immeidately responded. The security personnel reportedly saw the victim lying on the ledge but later rolled over and fell to her death.
Responding doctors at the scene reportedly tried but failed to revive the victim who suffered fatal injuries.
