AirAsia Philippines is inviting travelers to make the most of the long weekend and visit their favorite domestic and visa-free regional destinations. To support immediate travel plans, the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline is mounting its “Rain or Shine Let’s Fly and Go” which is available for bookings until 1 September. Offering a P127 one-way base fare for travels beginning this week until 31 March 2025, Rain or Shine Let’s Fly and Go is available for all destinations including the airline’s newest offering – Nagoya, Japan.
“As a pioneer and leader in low-cost travel, we’re thrilled to turn our guests’ travel plans into a reality with our lowest fare offering in time for the long weekend where most Filipinos are expected to take advantage of. This latest offering is also ideal for those planning end-of-year holidays. We encourage our guests to take advantage of these offers to save time and money while planning future trips,” AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Head First Officer Steve Dailisan said.
AirAsia’s promos and low fare offerings were effective not only in satisfying the guests’ travel needs, but also in improving the airline’s numbers. From January to August 2024, AirAsia Philippines has already flown over 5 million guests – 85% of which were booked via double digit, PISO Sale, and other low fare promos.
AirAsia also sees the lowering of the Fuel Surcharge from Level 6 to Level 5 for the month of September to have a huge impact on the public’s booking behaviour. At Level 5, fuel surcharge cost is expected to go down by PHP 800 for international flights and PHP 542 for domestic flights which would immediately reflect on ticket prices next month. “Filipinos are always on the lookout for discounts. Any budget saved from airfares can be used as an additional budget for hotels, restaurants, activities, or souvenirs”, Dailisan added.
Looking ahead, the airline is looking to close 2024 with more than 8 million guests flown as it continues to serve 165 domestic and 71 international weekly flights, delighting everyone with world-class service, the best inflight meals courtesy of Santan, and the most competitive airfare in the market today.
AirAsia reminds guests of the strict implementation of the cabin baggage policy which allows a limit of 7KG for complimentary hand carry baggage which can be a combination of a small hand carry item and a backpack or small luggage which is perfect for a quick getaway.
